Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal is having a hard time contemplating Russell Westbrook's crazy of triple-doubles.

Westbrook has recorded a triple-double in six consecutive games and 10 of his last 11 appearances. Beal said he was always struck by Westbrook's ability to stuff the stat sheet dating back to his MVP season, but added it is even more awesome to witness on a nightly basis:

It’s crazy because a couple years ago when he was the MVP and finished the year averaging 30 and a triple-double, I was like ‘I wonder how he does that.’ Now I get to witness it firsthand night in and night out and it’s still mind-boggling,” Beal said, via Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington.

Beal added it can sometimes be hard to appreciate how Westbrook racks up his numbers because it happens in such a hurry. He also said the Wizards gain energy from :

“It’s just crazy how it happens. He does it in the first five minutes of the game; he has four, seven and seven. It’s like ‘okay, it will be a good night for him.’ We love that about him, we love his aggressiveness. We feed off that. When he gets the rebound, we push. He just makes our life easy.”

Westbrook's style of play does not always lend itself to taking care of the ball. But he constantly finds ways to get everyone involved and set the Wizards off in transition.

Contrary to preseason chatter, Westbrook has not taken away from Beal's touches or scoring numbers. Beal is still leading the NBA at 31.0 points per game and is shooting a career-high 48.4 percent from the field.

The superstar duo has not been able to translate individual success into wins. But the chemistry and appreciation both seem to be there. That might be all that matters as Washington builds for next season.
