Things in the nation's capital are really bad right now, so much so that Washington Wizards fans are ashamed to show their faces at the games.

The Wizards are hosting the Los Angeles Clippers Tuesday night. One fan wanted to come to the game, but was too embarrassed to show his face. So, he put a brown paper bag over his head.

The Wizards entered Tuesday with a record of 5-11. The franchise is in complete disarray right now. Players are cursing out head coach Scott Brooks and arguing with each other in practice, John Wall and Bradley Beal are reportedly available for the right price on the trade market, and now fans are showing up to games in brown paper bags.

Wizards owner Ted Leonsis, who sits courtside at every home game, probably didn't see the brown paper bag fan, but he's definitely been hearing the chorus of boos the fans have showered the team with this season. At some point, Leonsis and Wizards general manager Ernie Grunfeld have to blow up this roster and embark on a complete rebuild. It's pretty evident that the players don't like playing with each other. This core has been together for too long and hasn't even advanced to the conference finals once.

As for the fan in the brown paper bag, he's clearly sending a message, that if the team wants to continue to be putrid, then the fans are going to embody that in the stands as well.
