Washington Wizards guard John Wall might be a full time NBA player and rapper this upcoming season. Earlier today, Wall posted on Instagram to announce that he has a video of him interviewing and rapping with rap mogul Lil Wayne coming out soon.

A video of Wayne announcing that Wall has agreed to sign with his record label surfaced on Twitter a well.

Wall has had a busy summer. He was been grinding in the gym every day and producing a video series called Summer of Separation to show fans what steps he is taking in the offseason to get better and help the Wizards ascend to the next level.

His team 43-39 last season, placing them in the last playoff spot available in the Eastern Conference. Wall and his teammates were booted from the playoffs from the first seeded Toronto Raptors. Despite having two all-stars, the Wizards have struggled to find playoff success.

Bradley Beal averaged 22.6 points 4.4 rebounds and 4.5 assists and flourished when Wall went down with a knee injury. Wall averaged 19.4 points, 9.6 assists and 3.7 rebounds last year. He agreed to give the Wizards his services until 2023 when he signed a $207 million contract extension last year. So he's in this thing for the long haul.

Upgrading at the center position by adding Dwight Howard will help the team if he meshes will with the personnel they have on board.

Who knows, maybe Wall's favorite rapper gave him so quality tips about performing under pressure that he will carry into his ninth NBA season with the Wizards. While basketball his his priority now, I'm sure John Wall will be happy to know that he can fall back on a record deal with YMCMB when he decides to hang up his sneakers.
