After sitting out Saturday's shootaround, Washington Wizards guard John Wall is expected to play in their Saturday night matchup against the Toronto Raptors. According to Rotoworld and Candace Bucker, Wall missed shootaround due to migraines.

John Wall scored 26 points with three rebounds, nine assists, one steal, three blocks and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes during a 113-112 loss in their season opener against the Miami Heat on Thursday. They lost the game on a last second put'back from Heat forward Kelly Olynyk although the NBA's last two minute report of that game indicated that there should have been a foul called before the putback which would have nullified the basket.

Saturday's matchup against  the Raptors is a potential playoff matchup preview between two contenders in the Eastern Conference. Surely, the Wizards want to avoid starting the season 0-2 .

The expectations for the Wizards are higher this season as LeBron James' departure from the Eastern Conference will mean a new contender will have an opportunity to take the next step. They added Dwight Howard this offseason in hopes of him providing them much needed inside scoring and rim protection.

The Raptors, on the other hand, acquired two-time Defensive Player of the Year awardee Kawhi Leonard from the San Antonio Spurs in exchange fro DeMar DeRozan. Leonard is looking like an early favorite for the league's Most Valuable Player award as he's led the Raptors to a 2-0 record. Their most recent win cam at the expense of the consensus favorite to win the East, the Boston Celtics.
