Things are unraveling quickly for the Washington Wizards and John Wall is front and center during the team's slow start. The Wizards and Wall have only won two of their first 10 games and the fanbase is starting to get restless. Wall responded to some of the criticism during an Instagram Live.

“I ain't in the gym (sic). I just left practice about an hour or two ago so now I'm just relaxing with my feet up. But don't tell the fans I said that. They think I'm gonna stay in the gym all day.”

Wall went on to talk a little bit more, but the sentiment was similar. He's entitled to live a life that isn't consumed by basketball 24/7. Wizards fans scolding Wall to get into the gym is pretty ridiculous. Players can enjoy themselves off the court without fans jumping down their throats.

Unfortunately, the criticism will come from every direction when a team is struggling like the Wizards are struggling right now. There is still time for the team to recover, but with each loss, the desire for change becomes greater. To be clear, the Wizards started the 2016-17 season at 2-8 before rebounding to go to the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

That being said, a turnaround like that is not a guarantee, especially considering some of the defensive woes the Wizards are experiencing early.

But whatever issues the Wizards are having, it doesn't mean that Wall can't pop on Instagram Live while he's relaxing after practice.
