Washington Wizards star John Wall was asked about President Donald Trump's criticism of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, which also featured an endorsement of Michael Jordan, and Wall thinks LeBron doesn't care much about it either way.

Instead of harping on the president, Wall made it a point to talk about James using his position of power to do good things in the world and how “you have to respect” all of the work he has done off the court.

Wall noted that while you don't have to like LeBron as a basketball player, there's no reason to criticize all of the other things he has done. From starting his own agency to recently opening a new public school in Akron, among other things, The King has a really impressive off-the-court resume.

Wall also pointed out how the work LeBron has done has paved the way for many others, including himself. Wall looked up to James as a youngster and now kids look up to Wall, and the Wizards point guard is trying to pass down the wisdom he learned. LeBron is truly a terrific role model and example to follow, and all of the support he has received this weekend shows how much he's respected around the NBA.
