The Washington Wizards took on the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night and were soundly defeated 75-98. The loss was already embarrassing enough, considering that the Mavericks are a Western Conference bottom-feeder and the Wizards are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.

However, in the game, JJ Barea and John Wall got into it and Wall wasn't particularly happy about it. He even resorted to calling Barea a “little midget” after the game, according to Candace Buckner of Post Sports.

This John Wall v. J.J. Barea beef started when Wall called him a “little midget.” Barea responded that he now doesn't like Wall and he thinks teammates don't like Wall either. On Wednesday, Wall responded to Barea's comments…

Using the term “midget” to describe someone is awfully disrespectful, and it's a no-brainer that Barea responded the way he did. Barea's comments were actually somewhat spot on. Wall expressed that the Wizards' team meeting was counterproductive. Therefore, Wall's teammates may not be the happiest in the locker room. Earlier today, Wall rebuffed on his use of the word “midget,” while stating that he doesn't believe in Barea's comments.

Wall: “I’ve never had a teammate say he didn’t like me. If it’s true, nobody would be man enough to say it to me so I don’t believe it. … I don’t let that affect me. I probably could’ve used a better word than “little midget.” I could’ve called him a “little guy.”

No one knows for sure if Wall's teammates dislike him, but the fact remains that Barea isn't too happy with the Wizards' point guard right now. Hopefully, both sides can move on and play good basketball for their respective teams.
