The Washington Wizards pulled off yet another clutch win on Saturday night, beating the Dallas Mavericks on their home floor. Kyle Kuzma was a huge reason why.

Kuzma has not shied away from taking big shots at critical junctures for Washington this season, and he showed just that in crunch time against the Mavs. Kuz drained a corner three right to put the Wizards up by three with just a minute and change left in the game.

The Wizards forward also made sure to turn to the Mavs bench to talk a little trash right after. He threw in a classic “shhh” finger up to his mouth to silence the crowd.

Looks like Kyle Kuzma turned to the Mavs bench, shrugged and said “I told you” after his clutch go-ahead three with 1:33 left.

The Wizards have been the best clutch team in the NBA. With the Mavs win added as another notch on their belt, they now improve to a sterling 10-1 in games that have been within five points or less in the final five minutes.

The next three teams on the list are unsurprisingly the three best teams in the league thus far in the Phoenix Suns (8-1), the Brooklyn Nets (6-1), and the Golden State Warriors (6-2).

Kuzma has been right at the center of Washington's late-game success thus far. He has 25 clutch points so far this season, tied for 18th in the NBA, on a stellar 7-for-13 shooting clip and 4-for-9 from three-point land. Kuzma also has 19 clutch rebounds, which is second in the entire NBA behind only Anthony Davis.
