Since entering the NBA in 2017, Kyle Kuzma has been one of those young players who have the tools to make it big. Fully harnessing his talents, however, has been a problem for Kuzma, who's always been chided for his inconsistency.

After another mediocre stint with the Los Angeles Lakers last season, a change of scenery was probably the most ideal thing for Kuzma, and that's exactly what he'll get after being traded to the Washington Wizards as part of the blockbuster trade involving Russell Westbrook.

Kuzma has repeatedly said he can be an elite scorer in the NBA and he's eager to prove his doubters wrong. He once again posted a strong message on Instagram, perhaps as a way to motivate himself or to send a special shoutout to his gamut of naysayers.

“If it was easy everyone would be successful. Marathon.”

True that.

Kuzma has seen his career dip after a breakthrough campaign in his sophomore season. The arrival of LeBron James and Anthony Davis surely hampered his rise as he found himself in a lesser role with the Purple & Gold. While he was still a key part of the rotation of the Lakers, he had fewer minutes, touches, and scoring opportunities.

But now, as part of the rebuilding Wizards, Kyle Kuzma has a huge chance to finally make the leap and take on a leadership role. His latest post could be a sign of things to come.
