As the build up for the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics continues to gain steam, Washington Wizards rookie Rui Hachimura has headlined another commercial promoting the highly-anticipated international sporting event.

Hachimura, the first ever Japanese-born player to be drafted in the league, is definitely a big name in his native of Japan, and he actually recently signed an endorsement deal with internationally-renowned Japanese food company Nissin. This new advert is obviously just another one of a multitude of commercials we should expect to see starring the 21-year-old.

Hachimura was selected by the Wizards with the ninth overall pick in last June's draft. The 6-foot-8 forward is coming out of a three-year stint with Gonzaga, where he would average 19.7 points (on 59.1 percent shooting), 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.7 blocks as a junior.

The Wizards are in a bit of an odd place right now, with the future of their team anything but clear. John Wall, the team's cornerstone superstar, is not expected to figure significantly in the team's plans for the coming season as he recovers from injury. His backcourt partner, Bradley Beal, has perpetually been dragged into endless trade rumors, as many people seem to think that the All-Star shooting guard ought to seriously consider parting ways with the Wizards.

Nonetheless, the team have a bright spot in Hachimura, who seems to possess the tools to be a star somewhere down the line. This is not likely going to happen in the coming season, so Washington is probably looking at another miserable year.
