The Washington Wizards are off to a solid 7-3 start this season and that's been without one of their key starters in Rui Hachimura. The former Gonzaga standout left training camp due to a personal matter and hasn't played this season.

However, The Athletic's Shams Charania offered some clarity on Hachimura's situation with the Wizards:

Wizards forward Rui Hachimura has resumed being around the team in recent days and is expected to be reintegrated fully in the next two weeks, sources said. Hachimura, who missed training camp and has yet to play this season due to personal reasons, will go through the proper ramp-up process before returning to the floor.

This is certainly good news for the Wizards. After all, Hachimura is their starting power forward. The third-year player averaged 13.8 points and 5.5 rebounds in 2020/21 for Washington and put up very similar numbers in his rookie campaign.

For the time being, Kyle Kuzma has been starting at PF. There's definitely a chance that Kuz continues to do so and Hachimura comes off the bench, but either way, they'll both get lots of minutes.

The Wizards have won two straight and just beat the defending champion, Milwaukee Bucks, on Sunday. This team is proving they could be a playoff team in the Eastern Conference with a revamped roster. As Hachimura returns, DC will be even stronger.
