The Brooklyn Nets hosted the Washington Wizards on Sunday night, with the home team emerging with a 113-106 victory. After the game, Wizards star Russell Westbrook made an effort to interact with the fans in attendance as he decided to give away his game-worn jersey. It wasn't just any fan, though, as Russ handed it over to Michael B. Jordan.

Here's Westbrook signing the jersey off his back before giving it to Jordan (h/t Hoop Central on Twitter):

For those who are not familiar with the Hollywood actor, he is not to be confused with the GOAT, Michael Jordan. MJ, who himself played a couple of years with the Wizards during the tail end of what was a highly-decorated career, does not have a ‘B.' in his name. On the other hand, Michael B. Jordan, the famous actor, makes it a point to have the ‘B.' in his name so as to avoid confusion.

Michael B. Jordan has played many noteworthy roles throughout his career, with perhaps his most popular one being Erik Killmonger in Marvel Studio's Black Panther.

He appears to be buddies with Russell Westbrook, too, and this post-game gesture serves as a testament to this fact. Both men are from California, so perhaps there's a bit of a hometown connection going on here.
