Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal had one of his best games of the season as he dropped 39 points, nine rebounds, nine assists, and seven three-pointers against the Chicago Bulls. After the game, Wizards coach Scott Brooks reiterated his stance that Beal is deserving of an All-Star call-up.

Per the Washington Post's Candace Buckner:

“I’ve been saying this – going on the second year now – that Brad’s an All-Star… We’ve won seven out of our last 10. It’s all about winning games and if you win games and you play for each other, individual awards come.”

Beal is having another stellar season this year, averaging 23.4 points per game. That is just a continuation of his impressive production from last season when he just barely missed out on his first All-Star appearance despite putting up 23.1 points while shooting 48 percent from the floor and 40 percent from beyond the arc.

Beal will have some added competition this season in terms of grabbing an All-Star place with Indiana Pacers shooting guard Victor Oladipo playing so well. But with the Wizards still challenging for a top-four spot in the Eastern Conference, thanks in large part to Beal’s fine play, the Wizards shooting guard should be a strong contender to make his first All-Star berth if he can continue to play well.
