After receiving an MRI, John Wall is expected to miss two weeks of the 2017-18 NBA season after undergoing treatment on his sore left knee. With the Wizards off to a slow 10-8 start to their standards, there are questions if they will make a roster move.

Prior to the Wizards hosting the Portland Trail Blazers, head coach Scott Brooks was asked about a potential roster move according to Chris Miller of NBC Sports Washington:

In Wall's two-week absence, Tim Frazier and Tomas Satoransky are expected to play major minutes at the point guard position. Against the Toronto Raptors without the four-time All-Star, Frazier finished with six points, eight rebounds, and eight assists in 36 minutes. As for Satoransky, he finished with four points, three rebounds, and two assists in 12 minutes.

If Wall's return timetable is truly two weeks, it will be interesting to see if Washington can stay afloat. They currently have the seventh-best record in the Eastern Conference and one of the better starting lineups in the league. However, Frazier and Satoransky will need to step up to improve their chances of winning without Wall.

Wall is averaging 20.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 9.2 assists in 16 starts.
