With the Washington Wizards officially eliminated from the playoffs, Wizards head coach Scott Brooks is considering resting star shooting guard Bradley Beal for the final six games.
Beal hasn't missed a game this season, but it might be smart to rest him now that the season is over for the Wizards.
Brooks said Beal is the only player he's considering resting for final 6 games: "Everybody else needs minutes. They’re young. They need to get out on the court & get reps & get some good clips of them so we can continue to work on their game and areas to improve over the summer"

It's been an amazing season for Bradley Beal in 2018-19. The Wizards have been a walking disaster, but Beal hasn't.
In 76 games this season, Beal is averaging 26.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.5 assists per contest. The two-time All-Star is shooting 47.6 percent from the field, 35.4 percent from beyond the arc and 81.1 percent from the free-throw line.
Wizards All-Star point guard John Wall was lost for the season in December. Ever since then, Beal has taken his game to another level and proved he's one of the best shooting guards in the NBA.
Beal is the only established player on Washington. Everyone else should continue to play so they can develop their game and improve. There's really no point t play Beal. An injury at the end of the season would be a disaster. Because no one knows if Wall will play next season, the Wizards will need Beal to be 100 percent again moving forward.
