Spencer Dinwiddie has officially reached an agreement to join the Washington Wizards, and the veteran guard had the best meme reaction to the news when it dropped.

After it has been revealed that Dinwiddie has agreed to a three-year, $62 million deal with the Wizards via sign-and-trade, the 28-year-old took to Twitter to share a video clip from “Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.” It was a clip of Hagrid revealing to Harry that he's a Wizards.

Sure enough, fans don't need any other confirmation that the deal is done aside from this:

It sure looks like Spencer Dinwiddie is also ecstatic to finally get a deal done and leave free agency. It has been reported on Monday that the floor general and the Wizards were “nearing” a deal, but there weren't any real update until Wednesday.

Apparently, the cause of the delay might have been the Brooklyn Nets who wanted to get something in return–which they did after getting a second-round pick and a draft swap in the sign-and-trade for Dinwiddie.

The Wizards, however, will be happy to pair Dinwiddie with their star guard in Bradley Beal. For what it's worth, Beal recently posted a cryptic tweet seemingly indicating he's confusion why the team had not signed the free agent playmaker at the time.

It will surely be interesting to see how Dinwiddie will perform as one of the go-to guys of the Wizards. During the 2019-20 season, he put up career averages of 20.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.8 assists for the Nets.
