The Washington Wizards have been very active in the offseason, and on paper at least, they're looking like a force to be reckoned with next term. There is one glaring concern within the organization, though, with the future of Bradley Beal still cast in doubt amid a myriad of trade rumors surrounding the All-Star shooting guard.

New Wizards recruit Spencer Dinwiddie recently opened up about the prospect of playing alongside Beal, and it looks like his comments could hint at Beal's future in Washington:

“Obviously, I spoke to him, and obviously he's his own man and his decisions are his own. So I can't talk about his plans or what he's going to do,” Dinwiddie said, via ESPN. “I think right now we're both willing to kind of take a little bit of a bet on each other and try to do something special. All we can kind of focus on is the now, and if plans change then they change, but we're here now and have a really special chance.”

Several teams have already been linked to a move for Beal, with sides like the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics being identified as potential destinations for the 28-year-old. Beal himself has been rumored to be mulling a trade request from the Wizards and it goes without saying that losing their cornerstone superstar would set Washington back significantly — despite their impressive offseason haul.

For his part, Dinwiddie is hoping to get the chance to play alongside Beal. A Beal-Dinwiddie backcourt partnership has quite a ring to it, and Wizards fans will be hoping to see this on the court next season.
