Washington Wizards talent Russell Westbrook is making headlines thanks to accumulating approximately eleventy-billion triple-doubles. That part of the story is lame. What's not lame, however, is Atlanta Hawks superstar Trae Young taking to the mean streets of Twitter to literally call the veteran guard the GOAT.

Maybe it's a bit hyperbolic. And surely no one would truly consider Russell Westbrook the literal greatest of all-time. Assuming Trae Young is simply being polite, or means it in another context, we can probably refrain for being angry at the Hawks star, especially if you're a Wizards fan.

Anyway, enough rambling about what potential context came with the tweet, you can look at it here for yourself, then come to a conclusion.

First of all, Twitter, please go back to cropping the images. People are now abusing this function. Also, I hope Trae Young called whoever owns the copyright on that image or he might be up for a big time Twitter jail stint. I kid!

Anyway, for real life, this is obviously just a younger player trying to show the Wizards veteran some deserved love. Russell Westbrook has been around long enough that he was likely a dude Trae Young looked up to when he was younger.

Moreover, the Hawks star isn't wrong. There's literally only one version of Russell Westbrook on the planet. He truly is one-of-one. I know this because my mom told me all people are as unique as snowflakes.
