The Washington Wizards have made a minor move to their roster.

With this news, the franchise will now only have one roster spot available left. Important to note this is not a two-way deal between Randle and the franchise. He will be on the standard roster.

For his career, Randle is averaging 5.3 points, 1.3 assists and rebounds per game. He is also averaging 40.8 percent from the field and 34 percent from three point range.

He played in 18 games with the New York Knicks during the 2016-'17 season. He also played in eight games with the Philadelphia Sixers in the same season.

While he was with the Sixers, he put up better offensive numbers in terms of percentage.

It will be interesting to see what type of role Randle will have with the Wizards, if any.

He will most likely spend time between the Wizards and the G League. If anyone from the Wizards rotation in the guard spot go down, he could see some minutes and get an opportunity that he is an impactful player on the court.

He is also with the team to add more depth to the team as they are trying to get a spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The Wizards are struggling to the start of the young season, as they are 1-5 so far. Washington is looking for anything to provide a spark for them.

If Randle gets minutes and an opportunity to prove himself, he could be that spark the Wizards need.

It will be interesting for Randle to see if he can get any minutes in the rotation.
