In case you missed it, Russell Westbrook threw down an insane tomahawk jam over a hapless Bismack Biyombo during the Washington Wizards' 114-104 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night.

Pleasantries were exchanged after the game, though, and Westbrook appeared to have checked on Biyombo following the final buzzer (h/t Bleacher Report on Twitter):

The dunk was so nasty that Russ literally had to check on Biyombo after the game to see how he was doing. Either that or Westbrook just wanted to rub salt into Biyombo's wounds. The pair were laughing about it, though, and Biyombo himself appeared to be making light of the situation. He knew he was on the wrong end of another Westbrook poster and all he could do was laugh about it.

In case Russ wanted to check if Biyombo had sustained some sort of injury after the viciousness that occurred during the game, he'd be happy to know that Bismack is up and about. The only injury the Hornets veteran is coming away with from his in-game Westbrook experience is a bruised ego. Then again, Biyombo's been around the block for quite some time now, and he knows that this is all part of being a rim protector.

Westbrook finished the contest with another triple-double, logging 22 points, 15 rebounds, and 14 assists as he tried his best to carry his team without the injured Bradley Beal. Unfortunately for Russ and the Wizards, they were unable to pull off a win against a determined Hornets side.
