Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, and Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard are all elite talents more than capable of taking over a game.

In an interview with TrueHoop, a team executive, who has been trying to trade for Beal shared that Beal has something else in common with Curry and Lillard.

“In terms of franchise loyalty, I think Beal is in the same category as Steph and Dame right now.”

Rival front offices are frustrated that Beal seems set on staying with the Wizards, despite the roster's health issues and teammate Russel Westbrook's decline.

While it was expected that Westbrook would score less playing alongside Beal, he has been incredibly inefficient this season taking ill-advised shots more than usual and his free throw percentage has been awful.

Beal shared his thoughts on this matter with The Athletic.

“You have to play the what-if and devil’s advocate. ‘OK, what if things aren’t going well? What do you do from there?’ And I’ve had those thoughts, too,” Beal said. “But the ultimate thing is, what can I do with what I have? I always do that. I will never throw my teammates under the bus or anything like that. What I got is what I got. And I feel like we can work with what we got.”

Beal is more involved now more than ever when it comes to personnel moves, which he is grateful for.

“Not many guys could say who they want on their team,” Beal remarked. “Not many guys have the opportunity to have the team built around them. So, you can’t just overlook those things.”

In the meantime, Beal is a Wizard through and through, but he values winning and might end up playing somewhere else with hopes for a title.
