Washington Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld announced Friday, that the team has signed former second round pick, Tomas Satoransky.

The 6-foot-7 guard was selected by the Wizards with their 32nd in the 2012 NBA Draft. Four years later Satoransky is finally set to play in Washington.

Prior to being drafted by the Wizards he played three seasons in Spain, and two  seasons in the Czech Republic . Satoransky is also a member of the Czech Republic National Team. But after being selected by Washington, the versatile forward looked to earn more experience in Europe.

Last season, Satoransky averaged 10.7 points and 4.3 assists per game, while shooting at a .439 clip from beyond the arc for Barcelona in the highly competitive Spanish league.  In the 2014-15 season, he averaged 8.1 points and 3.3 assists, while shooting .432 from beyond the arc.

Grunfeld said in a statement:

We are very pleased to be able to bring Tomas to the organization after monitoring his development overseas for the last several years. He will provide energy and athleticism at both guard positions, giving us more depth and versatility in the backcourt.
