Monday was a chippy night in the NBA. After James Harden and Dejounte Murray got into it in the Houston Rockets' game against the San Antonio Spurs, the Detroit Pistons versus Washington Wizards game at the Little Caesars Arena was also marred by two players nearly coming to blows.

Davis Bertans came crashing hard to floor after he violently got dragged down by Markieff Morris with 6:40 left in regulation. The Latvian stretch 4 quickly rose to his feet and confronted Morris before being separated by their teammates.

Troy Brown Jr. played the role of peacemaker, as he made sure the two heated forwards had some space between them.

Cameras later caught Bertans still mouthing off on Morris and called him a ā€œbitchā€.

The Wizards went on to win the ball game, 133-119. Morris scattered 22 points, five boards and three assists in 33 minutes, while Bertans had 17 points, four boards, and three dimes in 36 minutes.
