Game 5 of the first-round series between the Washington Wizards and the Toronto Raptors went just as it was expected: tight and hotly contested. Despite the uber-competitive nature of the game, Wizards forward Kelly Oubre Jr. still managed to find an opportunity to show how flashy of a player he is when he followed up his missed 3-point attempt by going hard to the basket and throwing one down against Toronto backup big man Jakob Poeltl.

Oubre’s dunk was also a result of a heads-up play from Wizards guard Ty Lawson, who got the rebound off his teammate’s miss before darting a pass to a cutting Oubre.

This is the kind of aggressiveness the Wizards have shown of late to come back from a 2-0 series deficit. They won the last two games in Washington. The Wizards, however, ended up losing Game 5, 108-98, to find themselves trailing in the series again. Kelly Oubre Jr. finished the game with 14 points in 26 minutes of action off the bench.

Washington will now head back home, as the Wizards try to extend the series to a winner-take-all Game 7 this Friday. The Wizards are 5-1 in their last six games in the nation’s capital. As for the Raptors, they are only 4-6 in their last 10 games away from Canada.
