Sabrina Ionescu is taking the WNBA by storm. The young gunner from Oregon has lit up the league with her electric scoring from outside. Some fans have even pointed out the similarities to one Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors. You may have heard of that guy before.

On Friday night, fans got to see another instance of Sabrina Ionescu doing her best Stephen Curry impression. Against the Atlanta Dream, the WNBA star sank a deep logo three to put them away for good. Afterwards, Ionescu did this (via WNBA on CP):

Yes, you saw that right. Sabrina Ionescu, cold-blooded as ever, hit Stephen Curry's ā€œNight Nightā€ celebration after the shot. It seems fitting that the WNBA star hit the Curry celeb after hitting a quintessential Curry three from way downtown.

Ionescu and Curry actually go way back before this season. The Golden State Warriors star served as a mentor of sorts to the young WNBA star over the years. Curry even helped analyze Ionescu's first game in the league, which is nice to see. It makes sense for Ionescu to pay homage to her mentor in a big game.

Ionescu and New York Liberty fans are hoping that she will hit the same celebration in the WNBA Finals. After all, Steph Curry pulled it off during the Warriors' run to the top of the league in the postseason. It would be epic to see Ionescu pop off in the same fashion in the WNBA playoffs, and capture the first title in her young career.
