Jimmy Butler will be a free agent next summer, and it looks like he's going to have a lot of options to team up with another superstar.

As per by Sean Deveney of Sporting News, Butler is reportedly not happy with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Rumors reveal that he is not coexisting well with teammates Andrew Wiggins and Karl Anthony-Towns. Thus, come free agency next summer, Butler will have several options including the Brooklyn Nets, L.A. Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, and the Dallas Mavericks.

He is going to have plenty of options, though. He could join up with Irving in Brooklyn, or join Leonard with the Clippers. He could be the final piece to push the Sixers to a Finals run. He could forge a new future in Dallas. Dissatisfaction with his young teammates is a problem, but Minnesota’s bigger problem when it comes to Butler is that he will have so many choices.

Given these rumors and the array of attractive teams that Butler can choose from, the Wolves will be entering a critical season this year. This is their last chance of convincing Butler to stay. Last season was nothing but a mediocre campaign. They entered the playoffs as the 8th seed and got expectedly pummeled by the Houston Rockets in five games. And with an elite caliber player like Butler, the Wolves need to do better.
