Ever since 2K Games took over the publishing of the game, we've never seen GM Mode. It got replaced by Universe Mode, which is supposedly a GM Mode that is more flexible to the whims of the player. However, it completely removed the management sim of the game. Fans loved taking the role of the Raw or Smackdown GM, trying to book better shows against the other. It was a great way to build up fantasy matches and have reasonable stakes on the line. For some reason, it took 2K this long before taking the fan-favorite game mode back. But what's important is that WWE 2K22 GM Mode will be making a grand comeback, and it's more than what we could ask for.
