Fans don't always get their way, but today they do. With WWE 2K22 Most Wanted Pack DLC, fans win as the most-requested superstars get added to the game's roster.

WWE 2K22 Most Wanted Pack Release Date: May 17, 2022

WWE 2K22's second out of five post-launch DLC drops on all platforms on May 17, 2022.

New Wrestlers

The Most Wanted Pack adds five new wrestlers in the game, namely:

  • Cactus Jack
  • Ilya Dragunov
  • Indi Hartwell
  • The Boogeyman
  • Vader

These wrestlers have been in high demand from fans since even before launch. Now that they're around, we're sure that many fans would still be clamoring for a couple of names (Cody Rhodes, maybe?) so the new “Most Wanted” wrestlers will now be different. I wonder if WWE 2K and Visual Concepts still have the bandwidth to sneak in some surprise new wrestlers like they did yesterday with Patch 1.12 – doing that would just be Too Sweet.

The Most Wanted Pack comes with the game's season pass – priced at $40 the season pass nets you 28 wrestlers – about $1.5 for each wrestler in all the DLC packs that have arrived and coming your way. You can also purchase the DLC separately, and the Most Wanted Pack costs $10, so that's about $2 per wrestler. Is it worth it? You decide.

Photo-realistic DLC

What's striking about this DLC content is, again, how photo-realistic the wrestlers are. Visual Concepts are really out there trying to justify the steep DLC pricing of these DLC wrestlers. The most Wanted Pack features non-active and deceased wrestlers on top of amazing renders of Ilya Dragunov and Indi Hartwell, which means wrestlers like Cactus Jack, The Boogeyman, and Vader had to be modeled without the help of motion capture technology. This by itself is impressive. However, this also puts the burden on Visual Concepts as they have now proven that they can model wrestlers even without the use of motion capture technology, opening the possibility of making photo-realistic models of even more Legends and inactive WWE superstars. They've just raised the bar themselves with this piece of DLC, and fans won't forgive them if they end up releasing any low-quality models in future DLC.
