WWE‘s Ezekiel isn't Elias… right?

Sure, they do look alike, as family members often do, and they just so happen to work for the same company, World Wrestling Entertainment, but the duo each have their own profiles on the WWE roster page, their own interests – does Ezekiel play drums? – and have different facial hair preferences, as Elias was clearly blessed in the beard department where his younger brother wasn't.

And yet, it seems like a day hasn't gone by where another WWE superstar, usually Kevin Owens, is trying to catch Ezekiel in some sort of scheme.

… but why? Is Ezekiel cashing Elias' paychecks from Vince McMahon too? Is he taking twice as much food from catering?

Either way, after being Otis in a match on Raw, Ezekiel called for KO in order to convince “The Prize Fighter” to get him back into the ring for a rematch.

To his credit, Owens accepted the offer but on one condition: Ezekiel had to admit he was Elias… which he did.

What? Owens was right all along? Well, not exactly; after shaking on the deal, Ezekiel laughed it off and claimed that he played Owens at his own game, lying about being Elias in order to get the match he wanted despite clearly being Ezekiel.

Confusing? You bet, but not for Ezekiel, who got exactly what he wanted and will now face off against KO in the not-too-distant future. Whether he wins or loses, one has to assume Elias will be proud of his younger brother's ingenuity.
