Nikki Bella and Brie Bella, aka the Hall of Fame Bella Twins, are not particularly enthused with WWE at the moment. Sure, their career will forever be linked to the Stamford-based company as Total Divas, Total Bellas, and their current show are all productions of WWE's entertainment arm, but outright dissing the company certainly isn't in character for the duo, as Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling  Observer Radio.

“They said Mercedes was too over, so they didn't want to show her,” Melzer said. “And they really made fun of them for doing that, which is weird, because The Bellas have always been on good terms (with WWE). They've always been promoted, like again, on this thing, they brought them in and, you know, they've always taken care of them, so they weren't high on my bingo card of people who would go out there and blast the company, but, in fact, they did.”

Though they didn't appear on the show, Kevin Patrick did have an ad read promoting Nikki's forthcoming marriage show on E!, signifying that WWE was far from looking to blackball the duo for calling off their appearance at RAW XXX, at least when the show was still on the air pre-two Nikki Bella IG Live sessions. Taking part in Day 2 of a four-day media extravaganza to promote Nikki's forthcoming show, it would appear Bella's relationship with WWE is just fine, even if she appears more than comfortable with expressing her dissatisfaction in regards to how the “Women's Evolution” was represented on RAW XXX.
