When Ronda Rousey pulled out the win over Natalya in the penultimate match of the 2022 edition of WWE‘s Money in the Bank, it was a predictable yet fun way to close out the fifth match of an all-around successful premium live event.

… but then it happened.

That's right, not two hours after winning the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Liv Morgan ran out to the ring with her briefcase in hand and cashed it in on the “Rowdy One” with 30 seconds to decide on where she fits into WWE history.

You see, since Carmella won the initial Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match back in 2017, every single person who cashed in the briefcase has done so successfully. If Morgan was able to take care of business, she would keep that streak intact and if not, well, she would become the first person who blew it and would have to live that down for the remainder of her career.

Fortunately, this happened.

That's right, in a little over 30 seconds, Morgan took to the ring, fell victim to the ankle lock, but spun it back around to secure the win via a roll-up.

The crowd went wild, Morgan celebrated like a fearless champion, and the entire WWE Universe can look forward to the first-ever championship reign of the Morristown, New Jersey native, who has never been a champion in any promotion since making her wrestling debut as Gionna Daddio in NXT all the way back in June of 2015.
