In case you somehow haven't heard, Naomi and her tag team partner, Sasha Banks, have been away from the WWE for the better part of two months following their decision to walk out due to creative differences.
Are the duo still employed by The Fed? No one really knows – there have been reports that they are gone, there have been reports that they remain employed; no one really knows.
What can do know, however, is that in the not too distant future Naomi, or, as her Twitter followers know her, Trinity Fatu, is looking to do some Lucha things with former Lucha Houseparty member Lince Dorado.

So what exactly does that mean? Is Fatu looking to take her talents to Major League Wrestling (MLW), the company where Dorado is currently wrestling, and another Fatu, Jacob – who is second cousins with Jimmy and Jey Uso and a member of the Anoa'i Wrestling Family – is one of their top performers. Or is this simply a fun interaction with a pair of long-time friends who were employed by the same company from 2018-21?
I mean, probably the latter but hey, it certainly wouldn't be the worst thing to see Fatu throw on a mask and throw down with some high-flying, fast-hitting action the likes of which folks haven't seen the artist currently/formerly known as Naomi.
Eventually, this situation will be resolved. Naomi will be back in WWE, Trinity Fatu will be released, or she'll have to wait out the duration of her contract before she can officially wrestle somewhere else. Either way, the sooner she gets back in the ring the better.
