While Becky Lynch has yet to earn a spot in Money in the Bank and may ultimately sit out the event entirely following her loss to Asuka on RAW, the qualifying matches are ticking along, and slowly but surely the spots on the show are getting snatched up by the best WWE superstars male and female Vince McMahon and company have to offer.

On Friday's edition of SmackDown, the big bout to decide on a Money in the Bank qualifier, excluding Sonya DeVille's efforts to get onto the show, belonged to Shotzi, who, after a minor feud with Ronda Rousey, had to take on Tamina in order to punch her ticket to MitB and potentially earn another shot at the Raw Woman's Championship title.

Fortunately, Shotzi is a pretty darn good performer, even without her signature tank and last name, and was ultimately able to defeat the daughter of Jimmy Snuka for a shot at the green, white, and gold briefcase.

Despite falling victim to a much larger foe early in the match, with Tamina earning the upper hand with her power moves, Shotzi worked over her opponent with her tricky usually impressive in-ring antics and secured the win with her signature DDT for the 1-2-3.

Now entered into a Money in the Bank match with Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Lacey Evans, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and one final participant who has yet to be announced but totally isn't Becky Lynch, the card for WWE's next premium event is shaping up to be a good one indeed.
