Former Overwatch pro and extremely popular Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyell found himself in the center of yet another controversy. xQc once again has the spotlight shined on him with the resurgence of another game on the streaming service, Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) Role Play (RP).

XQC IN HOT WATER DUE TO GTA V MISBEHAVIOR

xQc found his first bout of controversy on NoPixel’s RP server when he was found breaking server rules. The streamer got caught driving recklessly, crashing and ramming into other roleplayers, and causing general mischief. He received a ban from NoPixel himself on February 23, which was subsequently lifted two days later. His most recent incident, however, led to worse consequences than just a light server ban.

Lengyell would accuse in-game officers of “stalling” the due process of arresting him whenever he would be in hot water. He alleged that they purposefully take him into custody slowly to extend their exposure on stream. This culminated in xQc abusing an exploit that allowed him to arm himself with a gun, even after being restrained and handcuffed by the police. He then proceeded to open fire on the officers while in jail, netting him his second ban from the NoPixel GTA V RP server on March 7th.

Other Twitch creators such as MOONMOON, Hasan, and Esfand reacted to xQc's misbehavior. During the whole drama, things got personal, with xQc leaking his Twitter DMs with Hasan. In it, he stated that he was being made out to be “villainous” by Hasan, even though he has shown remorse for what he has done. Hasan later fired back, accusing xQc of being “unable to take Ls” and handling the whole issue immaturely.

Other streamers such as Moistcr1tikal chose to take a more neutral stance, holding everyone involved to account. Either way, all the GTA V RP community can hope for now is a swift resolution between all parties involved.
