Yae Miko is the Head Shrine Maiden of the Grand Narukami Shrine. Beyond this, she is also Genshin Impact's next 5 star character. Confirmed by this tweet from the official Genshin Impact account, Yae Miko will be playable in the 2.5 update. She will wield a Catalyst, and Electro as an element. Leakers were quick to jump on this train, as almost everything about Yae is known at this point. Read on to find the Yae Miko leaks circulating in the community.
Yae Miko Banner Schedule
Yae's banner will run on the first half of Version 2.5. If the update follows previous schedules, her banner will begin on February 23 to March 16. Rumors also say that a Kokomi rerun will go alongside Yae's banner. With the banner being quite a ways away, farming for her ascension mats in time should be a breeze.
Elemental Skill
The official description for her Elemental Skill, Yakan Evocation: Sesshou Sakura, is as follows:
To Yae, such dull tasks as can be accomplished by driving spirits out need not be done personally.
Moves swiftly, leaving a Sesshou Sakura behind.
Sesshou Sakura – Has the following properties:
- Will periodically strike one nearby opponent with lightning, dealing Electro DMG
- When there are other Sesshou Sakura nearby, their level will increase, thus boosting the DMG dealt by said attacks.
A maximum of 3 Sesshou Sakura can exist simultaneously. The initial highest level each Sakura can reach is 3.
These “totems” that spawn from casting her Elemental Skill also has good range. Both the flying Hydro Mimics and Spectres can be zapped by the Sesshou Sakuras.
Elemental Burst
Yae's Elemental Burst is Great Secret Art: Tenko Kenshin, and has the following official description:
The legend of “kitsunetsuki,” or the manifestation of a kitsune's might, is one of Inazuma's folktales. Among them, that of the Sky Kitsune is considered special, falling upon the foes of the Grand Narukami Shrine in the form of lightning that plummets down, dealing AoE Electro DMG.
When she uses this skill, Yae Miko will unseal nearby Sesshou Sakura nearby, destroying their outer forms and transforming them into Sky Kitsune Thunderbolts that descends from the skies, dealing AoE Electro DMG. Each Sesshou Sakura destroyed this way will create one descending thunderbolt.
Yae Miko Ascension Materials
Yae uses the ascension materials dropped by the field boss Bathysmal Vishap Herd. Here's our guide on how to beat the field boss so you can ascend Yae Miko as fast as possible. Aside from this, you will also need to go around Inazuma to find 168 Sea Ganoderma. The Handguard drops from the Kairagis and Nobushis are also needed.
For talents, she needs the materials from a new weekly boss (or just use Dream Solvents) and uses the Light line of talent scrolls. These are available at The Violet Court every Wednesday and Saturday.
