New York Yankees star outfielder Aaron Judge has had question marks surrounding his future with the club ever since he rejected the team's contract offer on Opening Day. So, it wasn't particularly surprising to see the questions follow Judge to the MLB All-Star Game. ESPN's Marly Rivera asked the Yankees star about a young fan named Jacob who was fearful that his favorite player wouldn't be on the team after this year. The Judge responded to Jacob, per Bleacher Report and The Athletic.

“Jacob, buddy, we've got a lot of great Yankees on this team. There are a lot of great Yankees who will be here for a long time, so don't be upset,” Judge said. “Hopefully you'll be a Judge fan for life.”

Aaron Judge's answer wasn't a particularly encouraging one for Yankees fans. Judge is never going to come right out and reveal what his future plans are. Nobody knows what kind of offer the Yankees will make this offseason- or if Judge will accept it.

But boy oh boy. Poor Jacob probably didn't feel very secure after hearing that answer! There's a lot of great Yankees on the team who will be here for a long time?

It almost sounds like Judge is insinuating that he won't be with the club for a long time, preparing young Jacob for the worst-case scenario.

Of course, this is all just a guessing game until the offseason. However, Aaron Judge certainly stirred up even more speculation with this interesting response.
