New York Yankees star Aaron Judge opened his account for the season in tremendous fashion on Monday night against the Baltimore Orioles.

Judge smashed one out of the park to open the scoring for the Yankees on a one-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning (h/t New York Yankees on Twitter):

Judge, who himself might have a career in the NFL if things somehow go south with the Yankees, got that ball cleanly, and it was clear that it was headed out of right field as soon as the pitch made contact with his bat. Orioles outfielder Ryan McKenna put up a noteworthy effort in tracking the flier, but in the end, he wasn't even close to catching that ball.

Judge and Co. came into Monday's tilt against the Orioles in need of a win. New York lost two out of their first three games of the season against the Toronto Blue Jays and another loss on Monday could have the critics second-guessing the squad. Judge threw all that out the window (or out of the park, rather) as he opened the scoring for the Yankees in emphatic fashion following a scoreless first half of the ballgame.
