The New York Yankees had quite the weekend out in the Bronx. After a walk-off win in their first game against the Astros, the Yankees were no-hit in the second game, and spent the first seven innings on Sunday looking for their first hit of the game. Things turned around late on Sunday when the Yankees mounted an impressive comeback victory, capped off by a walk-off 3-run slam courtesy of Aaron Judge in the bottom of the 10th inning. After sending Yankees fans home happy, Judge boldly declared himself the best player on the team in his post-game interview with YES Network's Meredith Marakovits.

When asked where his quiet confidence comes from, Judge coolly replied, “When you're the best player on the team, how can you not?”

The Yankees struggled to get the bats going all weekend. They were facing 16 consecutive innings without registering a single hit against the Astros before Giancarlo Stanton hit a solo shot in the 7th inning. They tied it up in the 8th inning after DJ LeMahieu hit a two-run home run.

Michael King escaped a bases-loaded jam in the top of the 10th, which set up Aaron Judge's walk-off home run in the bottom of the frame, handing the Yankees their 22nd come-from-behind victory of the season.

It was Judge's second walk-off hit in the series against the Astros, and at the rate he's going he may just be playing himself into an absolutely massive new contract at the end of this season.

Judge didn't mince words when calling himself the Yankees' best player. That's something any fan would have a hard time disputing, as the slugger hit his 28th homer of the year and helped the Yankees improve to 53-20 on the season.
