The New York Yankees were down by two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning in Tuesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays when star outfielder Aaron Judge stepped to the plate with a pair of runners on. Facing talented Blue Jays closer Jordan Romano, Judge took a hanging slider and deposited it 414 feet into the left field seats at Yankee Stadium for his first career walk-off homer, sending the Bronx into bedlam. Following the walk-off, Judge shared his immediate reaction, with teammate Luis Severino chiming in for good measure, as reported by Bryan Hoch of MLB.com.

“It’s a weird feeling,” said Judge, who leads the Majors this year with 10 homers. “You hear the crowd going crazy, you look at your bench and you see your guys jumping over the railing, just getting all excited. It’s a special moment that I got to share with them.”

Judge said that it's a “special moment” that he got to share with his Yankees' teammates following the win over the Blue Jays. It has to be a good feeling seeing the stadium going nuts and teammates jumping over the railing.

Especially teammates like Severino, who advocated for his Yankees teammate's MVP case back in 2017 while saying that “you know that he's going to come through” in clutch situations.

Come through, Judge did, as his walk-off homer capped off a huge Yankees comeback against the division rival Blue Jays. Judging by his red-hot start to the season, it's likely that there will be more special moments for Judge and the Yankees in the 2022 MLB season.
