The stars were out for New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter on his MLB Hall of Fame induction day.

Jeter joined the 2021 class and in attendance to watch his induction were none other than Michael Jordan and Patrick Ewing.

Talk about a star-studded guest list, it doesn't get much better for the Yankees legend than having the greatest of all-time and one of the greatest New York Knicks players ever to join the party.

Jeter had an incredible career that was littered with tons of accolades. Perhaps most notable, Jeter did it all with the Yankees in what ended up being a 20 year career.

The smooth moving shortstop was named an All-Star 14 times, won five World Series titles with the Yankees, racked up five Gold Glove awards and was World Series MVP in 2000. The list could go on and on for Jeter.

His No. 2 was retired by the Yankees following his playing days.

Jeter is clearly well respected by his peers and other athletes of his era with Jordan and Ewing showing up to show their support for the former Bronx Bombers captain.

A legendary career that is rightfully being recognized and honored and etched into history as Derek Jeter is now part of the MLB Hall of Fame. A tip of the cap to a legend.
