The New York Yankees made highlights, except this time it wasn't Gerrit Cole or Aaron Judge. In their game against the Toronto Blue Jays, they turned a wild, wacky, unpredictable triple play that left everybody confused.

Seriously, where do we even begin?

With two on and no outs and the dangerous Vlad Guerrero Jr. at the plate, things were about to look bright for the Blue Jays. But, with one swing of the bat, the inning ended, and the Yankees got out of a jam.

The Yankees pitcher threw to first, then went to second, then home, and after that who even knows anymore. This has to be one of the wildest triple plays in the history of baseball and some irresponsible baserunning on the part of the Blue Jays.

Well, the Yankees escaped what could have easily been a lopsided inning for the Blue Jays and ended up with a remarkable, highlight-worthy triple play that will float around the internet for some time.

As for the fans, their boos might have been towards the Blue Jays? Or perhaps it was for questioning the final tag at third base?

Who knows. But everybody should feel for the official scorekeeper after what the Yankees did.
