Whether you believe that Golden State Warriors Zaza Pachulia is just a clumsy five-year-old trapped inside the body of a 6-foot-11 adult who sometimes loses control of his limbs or that he is a man intent on crippling people on the hard court, you will probably find it hard not to chuckle (at least) at his savage reply to a troll’s comment on his Instagram post.

The seldom-used Warriors big man recently uploaded an Instagram image featuring him and his wife having a brunch at a hotel in Berkeley, and it did not take long before trolls poisoned it with comments that range from the hilarious to the vile.

Zaza Pachulia, like most other NBA players, can’t read all of those comments. It’s just impossible for them to browse through hundreds of these messages in one sitting. However, one commenter was lucky (or unlucky –depending on how you see it) enough to catch the slow-footed center’s attention by using a clever pun.

Zaza Pachulia, Instagram

Had that troll said that to Pachulia’s face, he would have gotten more than those two words from the Golden State center.

Of course, the perception of Pachulia being a dirty player did not just come out of nowhere. He was involved in that infamous landing-spot injury suffered by San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard during last year’s Western Conference Finals. More recently, there was last February’s incident with Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook in which Pachulia appeared to fall deliberately on the reigning NBA MVP’s legs.

Like him or not, Pachulia is still in the NBA, playing for the defending league champions — and enjoying his time with his smokeshow of a wife.
