Nish Patel, a then 18-year old kid, had grown up matching the Mamba his whole life. As a sophomore at UCLA in his dorm room in 2012, he created the blueprint for what became ClutchPoints. With the inception of social media with Facebook, he and the rest of the team created a website and team-specific outlets for every NBA, NFL and MLB team. In 2014, ClutchPoints emerged as the umbrella organization and blossomed into a sports, culture and entertainment news and media company. A decade later, ClutchPoints’ website and mobile app reach over 20 million monthly users, fueled by a sizable editorial staff of experienced journalists and credentialed reporters covering news and major sports moments. ClutchPoints’ social network has grown to over 30 million fans across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube as well.
