The UFC Vegas 92 Main Card continues to roll as we're set for another betting prediction and pick for this upcoming bout in the Bantamweight (135) Division. Houston's own Adrian Yanez will take on Brazil's Vinicius Salvador in an all-out barn burner of a fight. Check out our UFC odds series for our Yanez-Salvador prediction and pick.

Adrian Yanez (16-5) has posted a 5-2 record in the UFC since 2020. He began his UFC run with five-straight wins and quickly proved himself as having some of the best boxing hands in the division. He dropped his last two bouts via KO to Rob Font and Jonathan Martinez, so he'll be looking to avenge himself as the big betting favorite here. Yanez stands 5'7″ with a 70-inch reach.

Vinicius Salvador (14-6) is still searching for his first UFC win after posting an 0-2 record in 2023. He lost his two opening bouts against Victor Altamirano and CJ Vergara via unanimous decision despite having a chance to finish during several points of both fights. He'll continue to search for that elusive first-win as the heavy underdog here. Salvador stands 5'7″ with a 70.5-inch reach.

Why Adrian Yanez Will Win

Adrian Yanez had a great start to his UFC career with four of his first five fights ending in a knockout for his favor. He's an extremely skilled boxer with lightning-fast hands and a master as controlling distance from range. His last two bouts were against the toughest competition he's faced to-date, so there's no surprise he went down swinging in the process. Still, he's learned a lot from the losses and if he comes back stronger, he'll have an even wider experience gap over Salvador if this fight remains on the feet.

Adrian Yanez is no stranger to dangerous opponents and he found out the hard way during his last two fights. He'll have to be careful of the power coming back from Salvador as his opponent tends to take big chances and swing for the fences. To win this fight, Yanez will have to be patient and pick-and-pop his way to victory here. If he lands clean, he could score another knockout win on the back of his boxing power.

Why Vinicius Salvador Will Win

Vinicius Salvador has had a tough couple of draws in his last two fights and after being close to the finish, he let both fights slip away from him in the later rounds. Salvador has all the ability to knock his opponents out and swing for the fences in the pocket, but he sacrifices his own defense and guard in return. If he focuses less on the knockout and more on protecting himself, he certainly has the hands necessary to stun a guy like Yanez. Look for Vinicius Salvador to take a measured, more patient approach during this fight.

Vinicius Salvador will be most dangerous in this fight during the opening round. He's quick to take the center of the octagon and will lure his opponents into over-extending so he can find the chin. He may have to be first in the initial exchanges as Yanez is likely to take his time to set up his strikes. Salvador can disrupt his plans by being aggressive early and gaining his respect with a few hard low kicks and shots early.

Final Adrian Yanez-Vinicius Salvador Prediction & Pick

This will be a fun fight given both fighters' willingness to stand in the pocket and trade. Of the two, Adrian Yanez is the much more technical boxer and has some of the best hands in the division. Vinicius Salvador is a savage and he'll be going for the finish throughout every stage of this fight.

Vinicius Salvador has seen a lot of success putting opponents down in the opening round and he'll need to do the same here against Yanez. Until he can gain Yanez' respect with a few big shots, his opponent will look to settle into his boxing at range.

Ultimately, the betting odds are very telling here and we have to give the edge to Adrian Yanez in this one. He's faced the much better competition and he's worlds above a guy like Salvador in terms of his boxing. Still, the hands will be flying during this one and Yanez will have to survive a tense first round if he wants to pick up this win. Let's ride the favorite to win this one by knockout.
