With the New Orleans Pelicans leading by 22 points in the third quarter of their game against the New York Knicks, Anthony Davis suffered an injury after getting hit by a flagrant foul.

The 6-foot-11 big man was streaking to the basket with 1:16 left in the penultimate period when Kyle O'Quinn pushed him from behind just when he was about to elevate, sending him crashing to to the second row of fans.

O'Quinn was assessed with a flagrant 2 foul and was ejected from the game. Davis on the other hand was forced to leave the game and headed to the locker after the bad fall.

The New Orleans faithful are hoping their All-Star forward did not suffer any serious injury as he is their most important player and the team will badly need him as they look to make a big push to secure a playoff spot as the season progresses.
