Ayesha Curry lashed out on Twitter as she watched the Warrior's chances for a repeat dashed by the Cavaliers, coming back from a 3-1 deficit to win the NBA Finals.

“It's rigged,” she wrote in a tweet that she deleted afterward, receiving tons of backlash from the internet.

She still wasn't happy:

It was the in heat of the moment, emotions flared when Stephen Curry had fouled out, and the Warriors lost another game.

Ayesha later issued an apology via People Magazine, saying she regretted the rash outburst, and wanted to clear the air:

I was just a fan in that moment so I didn’t think about the ramifications. I regret the way that I voiced how hurt I was. I felt hurt for (Steph), and I didn’t mean to offend anybody. Obviously, what I wrote is not what I think about what he does for a living.

The internet can be very unkind, because it doesn't let anything pass. There have been plenty of memes, jokes and insults hurled her way, and even now there are reference jokes to rigged games of NBA 2K anytime anything controversial happens surrounding the association.

Ayesha even reached out to Stephen A. Smith for advice on how to handle the internet vitriol, who told her to simply ignore it.

Steph told People Magazine he supports Ayesha in this statement:

I know her intentions. I know where she was coming from. You’re not going to win any battles on Twitter, so I tell her, Keep being you. Keep doing what you’re doing. Don’t worry about what people are going to say. No matter who you are, they are going to try to find something to try to get under your skin and make you be somebody you’re not.

After threatening to cut off the wi-fi, there is little chance we'll see another emotional outburst from Ayesha on Twitter again.
