The L.A. Clippers have been plagued by injuries at the absolute worst times of the season, especially when it comes to their leaders Blake Griffin and Chris Paul. Already down a key bench player in Austin Rivers, the Clippers currently don't know the status of Griffin after he suffered what appeared to be a leg injury late in the second quarter of Game 3 against the Utah Jazz.

Griffin drove to the basket in transition and scored around Jazz guard Rodney Hood, and started limping once he landed following the made basket. He was able to run back on defense, then create another play on offense, but checked out of the game at the first dead ball.

Bill Oram of the Orange Register reports that Griffin has been ruled out for the remainder of Game 3 with a bruised right big toe. He will also be re-evaluated later tonight.

Here's a frustrated Griffin walking towards the Clippers' bench and slamming a chair on his way to the locker room. His immediate reaction would imply that he suffered a serious injury, but a bruised right toe diagnosis is probably not as bad as it could've been.
