The Nets were not very good last year at all and even lost their top 3 pick to the Celtics. Thaddeus Young was a bright spot for the team as he shot above 50% from the floor and averaged 15 points and 9 rebounds per game.

Brooklyn is beginning their rebuild and they have a lot of nice young pieces. Thad Young wasn't part of the plan which is why he was dealt to the Indiana Pacers today.

Via Adrian Wojnarowski:

The Nets will be moving into the 1st round to pick 20th in return. That was their plan all along. The Pacers now have a very attractive starting five of Jeff Teague, Monta Ellis, Paul George, Thad Young, and Myles Turner.

Look for Indiana to make a lot of noise next season as they now have one of the more impressive looking starting fives in the NBA.
