Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is already drawing rave reviews including from Odell Beckham Jr. who said the second year guy reminds him a lot of Brett Favre. Getting compared to Favre could be a lot of pressure for some but Mayfield doesn't seem to mind.

“Brett Favre was my favorite quarterback growing up so it got me a little fired up,” said Mayfield on May 15 after an OTA practice in Berea. “If you don't have that mentality to be the best that ever played then I think you're doing it for the wrong reason.

A lot of people have commented on Beckham's comments but Mayfield thinks he is just excited to be in Cleveland and with this team.

“People can blow it out of context, whatever they want. But (Beckham's) just excited to be here, get to work and start something new.”

Mayfield isn't shying away from the expectations but there is a ton of pressure for this team to be really good this season.

They traded for Beckham Jr and Mayfield will entering his second season and his first full offseason as the starter. They also have a good running back room including Kareem Hunt who should be a huge asset once he serves his suspension.

Beckham and Mayfield have been working outside of practice a lot and they expect to do that again this summer before they report to training camp. If these two can get the timing down and are on the same page, this could be one of the most exciting offenses in the league.
