Younger NBA fans probably know Joakim Noah as nothing but a useless deadweight for the New York Knicks, but there was a time when the gap-toothed big man was a great player. That was when he was still part of the Chicago Bulls. Anyway, we are not here to reminisce those times, but rather to marvel at this random photo of Noah, Omer Asik, and a life-size cutout of former NBA center Brad Miller.

We’re not sure when this photo was captured, but it’s probably taken either last December or earlier this month when the Knicks and the New Orleans Pelicans had crossed paths. Then again, where the heck did these two get a Miller cutout? Has Joakim Noah completely gone off the rails that he travels around NBA cities carrying Miller’s cardboard version?

If this was a sign of a possible reunion, we are also not sure how that is going to happen. Noah has a large, onerous contract that would instantly give headaches to any team that would be foolish enough to take him via a trade with the Knicks. Noah has two more years left on his contract after this season, which is worth more than $37 million. That’s a steep price for someone who has not played meaningful basketball for four seasons now. As for Omer Asik, the Bulls center has a guaranteed contract until 2019.

Noah and Asik were teammates for two seasons (2010-2012) in Windy City with the Bulls reaching the Eastern Conference Finals in 2011 and making a first-round exit the following year.
